The unwind side has an acrylic adhesive for bonding to various high surface energy surfaces while the liner side adhesive has an aggressive acrylic removable designed for clean removability from non-paper substrates. Peel adhesion: Unwind side at 75 oz./inch; liner side at 40 oz./inch.

LX-117 is double-coated 1/2 mil polyester designed for applications where a removable adhesive is required on a fabricated part. The LX-117 is coated on the unwind (exposed adhesive) side with a permanent acrylic adhesive that exhibits good adhesion to a wide variety of high surface energy materials including mildly plasticized materials. The liner side is coated with an aggressive acrylic removable designed for clean removability from non-paper substrates. Does not remove well from aluminum surfaces.

Note: Be sure all surface areas are free from contamination before applying LX-117.
